Oxygen standard probe (Reference #8.4.37)
This is a high performance, very robust galvanic oxygen probe for the measurement of dissolved oxygen in water, waste water and air. Completely sealed internals, so there is no risk of insulation failure, heavy duty Sub Sea cable, high mv output 6.5 mv at approx 1mg/1 dissolved oxygen. Ideal probe for oxygen monitors. Directly interfaces with the COS line amplifiers.
The probe is supplied with 5 meters of cable (alternative lengths available) pack of 5 membranes and 50ml of electrolyte. Price: Approximately $335 US.

Dryden Aqua:
Oxyguard:
The Model 430 consists of an OxyGuard Standard probe with "built-in" 2-wire 4-20mA transmitter. A calibration screw in the side permits the 4-20 mA to be calibrated to correspond to the desired range of oxygen concentration. The Model 420 is ideal for use wherever in-situ oxygen measurements are required. It directly interfaces to the MCU without additional line amplifiers. These units run approximately $690 each.
The Oxyguard DO221P, the "standard" DO probe of the industry, has an output of approximately 60mV at saturation. It requires use of a line amplifier or 4-20 MA converter. Use of the line amplifier provides isolation of the probe, permitting it to be used in electrically noisy environments. Price for the standard probe runs approximately $390 each.
Sensorex:
Sensorex Industrial Galvanic Dissolved Oxygen Probes provide fast response, long life and low maintenance for reliable long term deployment for your waste water or aquaculture applications. Key features include: Large volume electrolyte resevoir for long term continuous deployments. Sensors are available with either a durable Teflon membrane, or a wide span HDPE memebrance. All models are available with an optional integral temperature sensor. Calibration is easy, requiring only a single point air calibration.
DO6200T probes are an excellent choice for aquaculture DO monitoring and control. The DO6242T is also perfect for aquaculture applications and now offers the user a factory calibrated 4-20mA output for use with the COS 4-20 Interface amplifier, or for direct PLC interface. Models DO7200 and DO7242 offer the same benefits as their DO6000 counterparts but offer better low end DO resolution for wastewater applications. They are available with either mV or 4-20mA outputs. Maintenance kits are also available.
Hand Held DO Probes:
EXTECH 407510 Hand Held Heavy Duty DO Meter
The units has a dual display of Oxygen concentrations and Temperature. Measures dissolved oxygen, oxygen plus temperature. Display has Min/Max/Avg, and Data Hold features, making readings in difficult spots a snap. Automatic Temperature Compensation built in. Auto power down mode to conserve batteries.
The unit also has a built-in RS-232 PC interface with optional Data Acquisition and Data logger software available. This is a high quality instrument which has proven itself in extensive field use.
Approximate pricing: Model 407510: $410
Software and data cable kit: Model 407001: $70
Conductivity and Salinity Probes:
Cole-Parmer EW19504-02: Toroidal Conductivity Transmitter (CT)
An excellent in-situ toroidal conductivity transmitter. The salinity range is 0 to 100 mS. This is a completely sealed unit designed for in-line or full immersion. Body materials is CPVC. It comes ready to use with built in 100 ohm Pt RTD temperature compensation. The electrodeless conductivity sensor is coupled with a built-in two-wire, loop-powered 4 to 20 mA transmitter. The CT sensor requires an 11 to 24 VDC power supply and has a maximum draw of 600 ohms. The CT interfaces directly with the COS 4-20 loop power supply and converter (Part No. 200- ) For stand-alone applications, process meters are available. The isolated 4 to 20 mA output may also be used for control applications, connected to a recorder, or an alarm. The sensor has a temperature coefficient of 0.3%/degrees C, and measures 8"L x 1/2" diameter with 4-1/2" insertion depth. Sensor comes with a 10-ft cable with Hypertronics quick disconnect connector, plug compatible with the COS 4-20 converter.
