Line Amplifiers & Signal Conditioners
Part Number
COS, dual channel, signal conditioning line amplifier. Channel 1 is a high gain, optically
isolated input for use with pH, DO, ORP and ION
selective probes. It is available in a +/- 100mV,+/-250mV and +/-500mV configuration. A second channel is provided for interface to temperature probes, etc. The line amplifier provides a precision regulated signal excitation source, 0-5 VDC, for excitation of temperature sensors). Both channels are fitted with gain and offset adjustments to interface with a wide variety of probes.
COS Frequency converter, with 31/2 digit LCD display, gain and offset adjustments. This signal conditioner is specifically designed for use with the RFO2500 series flowmeters from IMO (GEMS sensor division), but may be used with any sensor with a pulse output. Provides local readout of flow rates at the valve, and to the MCU for data logging, computation of mass flows, etc.. Includes a second channel for other sensors (temp probe, etc.), and precision regulated, adjustable excitation source available for sensor excitation (0- 5 VDC). Output interfaces directly to MCU500.
Type 1 General purpose Interface module. This interface provides a single channel, differential input amplifier, with gain and offset adjustment capability. It can handle signals with offsets from 0 to 4.5V, and provides a gain of -2 to +10. The module also provides an internal 12VDC to 9VDC converter, which may be used as a battery eliminator for hand held instruments, etc. It is used with EXTECH light meter, and accepts the 0-200mV offset input signal, providing a 0-5 VDC output, compatiable with the MCU standard analog input. The 9 Volt battery eliminator has a connector on it campatible with standard 9 Volt batteries. Can be used with other instruments as well.

General Purpose Signal Conditioner Units
COS AMPLIFIER/ISOLATION INTERFACE MODULE, W/9V,12V,18V SELECTABLE ISOLATED INSTRUMENT SUPPLY AND ADJUSTABLE GAIN AND OFFSET.

This general purpose interface module can be configured to convert 4-20mA inputs, orother DC voltage inputs, to the MCU standard 0-5VDC output. The module has both gain and offset adjustments which makes it a simple process to interface with a wide variety of other instruments.

When used as a 4-20mA converter, the module supplies a regulated 18 VDC output to power 4-20mA Loop instruments, and converts the 4-20mA loop current to a 0-5 VDC output.

When configured for a DC voltage input, the unit will accept any signal from 10mV to 10V input, and provides Gain and Offset adjustments. It can be confgured to supply either 9,12 or 18VDC output to provide power to the external device. This module is commonly used with instruments such as the CP Toroidal Conductivity probe, the EXTECH light meter and other instruments.
